At an April clinic, at the end of the evening a patient came in, began the paperwork, and after 5 minutes got up and stormed out. A volunteer followed him and tried to convince him to return, sharing with him that there were four doctors who could seen him almost immediately. He refused to come back in. The volunteer returned to the clinic reception area and noticed the "Name" line on the check-in form read "Richard (Nobody Cares)." Clinic with a Heart volunteers do care and felt badly that night, although, there was nothing more they could do that night.
