What To Expect

Know what to expect before, during, and after your visit.

Preparing For Your Visit

Knowing what to expect can help make your visit feel more comfortable. At Clinic with a Heart, our goal is to provide care that is respectful, clear, and supportive from start to finish.

Appointments are scheduled by phone only. Please call ahead to speak with our staff and schedule your visit.

Appointments are scheduled for the week of service only, and availability is limited.

Complete your patient forms.

Patient forms must be completed prior to your appointment. This helps our care team prepare and allows more time to focus on your health during your visit.

If you are able, please bring:

  • A list of any medications you are currently taking
  • Any relevant medical paperwork
  • A photo ID, if you have one (not required to receive care)


If you don’t have these items, you can still be seen.

When you arrive at the clinic:

  • Our staff and volunteers will check you in
  • You may be asked to review or complete forms
  • We’ll answer any questions you have before your visit begins


We understand that coming to a clinic can feel stressful. Our team is here to help you feel comfortable and supported.

During your appointment:

  • A medical provider will meet with you to understand your concerns
  • You’ll have time to ask questions
  • Your care will focus on your immediate health needs


If additional services, education, or referrals are needed, our team will help guide you through next steps.

Before you leave:

  • A discharge volunteer may review next steps with you
  • You’ll receive guidance on follow-up care, medications, or referrals
  • If needed, we’ll help you understand how to continue care beyond your visit


While Clinic with a Heart may not serve as a permanent medical home, we aim to help you move forward with clarity and support.

Donation Refund Policy

We are grateful for your donation and support of our organization. If you have made an error in making your donation or change your mind about contributing to our organization please contact us. Refunds are returned using the original method of payment. If you made your donation by credit card, your refund will be credited to that same credit card.

Automated Recurring Donation Cancellation

Ongoing support is important to enabling projects to continue their work, so we encourage donors to continue to contribute to projects over time. But if you must cancel your recurring donation, please notify us.
